Cloddfa Gwaras Slate Quarry / Cadair Idris - 1
Looking over some of the ruined Quarry buildings on the west side of the Criban Fach ridge with Cadair Idris in the distance.
The slate quarry worked both sides of the ridge.Cloddfa Gwanas slate and slab quarry 1840's - 1890 .
The older Later workings are concentrated around a deep pit on the W side of the summit with workshops and a small barracks.The slate was taken away by packhorse.

Route - From the A470 between Dinas-Mawddwy and Dolgellau,
Take the Path from the layby at the top of the Bwlch Oerddrws Pass .
The Path heads towards Waun-oer (670m)
