Looking over Gelli Lago , Nanmoor Valley , Gerynt Slate Quarry to Snowdon / Yr Wyddfa in the distance.
Gelli Lago is a former farmhouse for a 488ha hill farm, now a NT property and the Nantmor Mountain Centre.

From the A498, north of Beddgelert, just passed Llyn Dinas, take a lane on the right, a long single track lane
to a large parking area near Gelli Lago.
The parking area was the site of a water powered Slate Mill associated with the Gerynt Quarry , active around 1870, demolished 1990.
up to 30 quarrymen produced 200 tons of slate yearly.
