Cwm Dwyfor Copper Mine
A view of the Cwm Dwyfor Copper Mine at the head of the Cwm Pennant Valley.
Mynydd Tal-y-mignedd, of the Nantlle Ridge, at the top of the Cwm.
The mine was worked from 1840s to 1879 for copper and lead. The venture was a disaster.
A Tramway from the mine ran down the valley and joined the Prince of Wales Slate Mines tramway.

The tramway provides a tricky route , boggy / overgrown in lots of places , to reach the mine.
The tramway runs through a cutting near the Prince of Wales slab mill
