The Coast Path has followed the 4km long beach and Dunes of Morfa Dyffryn to reach Mochras / Shell Island.
Shell Island lives up to its name with lots of Shells above the rocky foreshore.

The shells are funneled towards Shell Island by a reef called Sarn Badrig / St. Patricks Causeway,
which runs from the south of Shell Island out in to Cardigan Bay, parallel to the Llyn Peninsula for 14 miles /( 24km).
One of three such ridges of rock and shingle that can be found on the West Wales Coast.
It is rarely seen, except on very low (Spring) Tides.

Shells around ? - Dog Whelk / Snail Shells / Acteon Tornatilis (sea slug), Scallops, Pelican's Foot, Cockle, Mussel, Razor Shell.
