Three Chimneys
The Three Chimneys .
A Silurian Rock formation of Ferruginous Sandstone .
A 4th chimney was dislodged during gales in 1954.
The Strata of the Llandovery sediments - Skomer Volcanic Group - are almost vertical here. Rock falls in this area may yield fossils , Brachiopod , Brachiopod shells , Gastropods ,
Cephalopods , Coral , Trilobite , in the thin bands of Silurian Coralliferous Rock.
