A view from Cresswell Quay as the sun sets , over the Cresswell River
The Quay was once used to export Anthracite Coal .
Cresswell Quay is a popular spot with the locals and tourist , with an attractive pub
the 'Cresselly Arms' , a proper old-fashioned country pub ,
with Beer served straight from the barrel by jug .
When the tide is out , stepping stones lead to the river bank on the opposite side.
On exceptionally high tides small pleasure boats can make their way up river
with just enough time to enjoy a drink.
