The Nab Head
To The Nab Head , where the remains of a Mesolithic chipping floor have been found.
10,500 yrs ago , Mesolithic hunters , made small flints and larger axes tools ,
worked from flint nodules washed ashore .
Over 500 perforated shale beads were found here, as was a carved shale object that may represent a Venus figurine .
