A view over Porth Maenmelyn.
Mudstones are at the back of the bay , with volcanic rocks ( Rhyolite , .....)
in the cliffs to the north side of the bay.
Overlying these deposits are pillowed Basalt lavas, such lavas form the bulk of the rocks
encountered along the coast to Strumble Head and further to the east ( Carnfathach ).
