An invasive brown seaweed / Originally from Japan / Found in the Isle of Wight in 1973 /
Spreading along the South Coast , North Cornwall , Lundy Is , Pembrokeshire / regarded
as a pest by mariners, fouling boat propellers and fishing nets and disturbing the natural
balance of the indigenous marine flora and fauna.
