A view of Marloes Beach from Red Cliff.
Red Cliff is formed of Old Red Sandstone and gives an excellent view
over the Silurian Cliffs at Marloes Beach.
The Silurian rocks are a mixture of Grey Sandstones , Mudstones ,
Conglomerates and Basalt Lava flows (west of the 3 chimneys).
The Old Red Sandstones reappear at the western end of the beach (Horseneck)
and at Gateholm Island.
