Milford Haven has a deep natural harbour, meaning that large vessels can enter and
depart safely at most states of the tide , crude tankers of 150,000 DWT are common,
VLCC' (318,000DWT) can be accommodated with 20 to 30 ships of all sizes transiting
the harbour daily.
