Whelk Egg Cases - "Hinia Sp."
Egg Cases of the Netted or Thick Lipped Dog Whelk.
"Hinia(Nassarius) Reticulatus / Incrassatus " .
The egg capsules are small vase shaped , up to 5mm tall , containing 50-100 eggs .
The eggs are attached to seaweed , eel grass , stones , shells .
They hatch after about a month into larvae.
