Impressive complex folding in the Rock Strata near Cemaes Head.
The Strata is formed of "Turbidite" Sandstones and Mudstones , layed down over a
few years about 440 million years ago .
The Strata was Folded and Faulted during the Caledonian mountain building period
(Orogeny) , about 400 million years ago.
