Fold - Disharmonic
Complex disharmonic folding and faults in the strata near Pen Yr Afr headland
( on the coast between Ceibwr Bay and Cemaes Head.
The Strata is formed from "Turbidite" Sandstones and Mudstones ,
layed down over a few years about 440 million years ago .
The Strata was Folded and Faulted during the Caledonian mountain building period
(Orogeny) , about 400 million years ago.
