Devil's Quoit - Standing Stone (Menhir)

Views from the east and the south of the Devil's Quoit.
A 1.7m high Stone , erected about 1400 BC on the site of a circular timber
structure that burnt down.
Also known as Stackpole Warren Stone, Dancing Stone of Stackpole .
In the Bosherston area , there are two Devil's Quoits and a Harold Stone ( one of a number
of such stones erected to commemorate King Harolds victory over the Welsh in 1063 ).

Good access from an unsigned path (nearly opposite an island of trees) , south of the track
between eight arch bridge and stackpole quay . An electric fence may have to be passed.
