Bedd Arthur - Oval Stone Setting
The site is located ESE of Carn Bica , Preseli Mountains , a prehistoric ritual site ,
a subrectangular enclosure 18m x 7.0m .
An oval stone setting , of 13 upright and fallen stones (having an average height of 0.8m) ,
backed by a low bank, surrounding a levelled intererior.
Oval stone settings ( a name given to monuments not readily identifiable) ,are a recognised
form of monument in the Neolithic and Bronze Ages of Britain, but remain rare (RCAHMV).
