Meini Gwyr - Embanked Stone Circle

Meini Gwyr , also known as Buarth Arthur (Arthur's Enclosure)
The circle is a low , broad circular bank of 36m diameter ,with a narrow
entrance to the west.
A Neolithic - Bronze Age monument uncommon to South Wales .
A ruined site , with only 2 of the original 17 stones still surviving - 1m and 1.7m tall ,
the raised ring of the bank on which the stones of the circle once stood
can be clearly seen .
