The Coast Path crosses the Afon Dwyryd by the new 'Pont Briwet' bridge (2015)
A long road walk (3.7km) to reach the road to Portmeirion Village , Minffordd.
The coast path gives views over the Afon Dwyryd , with Ynys Gifftan in the centre of the estuary.
The Island is now unoccupied .
It may have been gifted by Queen Anne in the early 1700s,
hence it became known as Ynys Gifftan ('Anne's Gift Island').
Can be reached from the southern shore
