On the western side of the bay , a footpath runs along the flood bank .
Foryd Bay is a partially enclosed intertidal bay on the Menai Strait with sand and mud habitats
important for native and migratory bird species, such as shell ducks, waders,
oyster catchers, curlews, lapwing and large flocks of over 5,000 widgeon.
