Llanberis - Dolbadarn Castle -1
Dolbadarn is a fine example of a native-built, Welsh castle.
The castle was built around 1230 by Llywellyn the Great, Prince of Gwynedd (1194-1240)
to control the strategic route from Caernarfon to the upper Conwy Valley.
