Ceunant Mawr (which translates as 'the waterfall of the great ravine') is probably one of the most impressive waterfalls in Wales
The Afon Arddu plunges over a hundred feet in two stages into a gorge.
Top left - Seen from the observation area alongside Snowdon Mountain Railway track .A Fp from Church Rd leads here.
Top right - The upper fall and pool from a path further up the road which crosses the Rail track. A steep descent to this viewpoint.
Lower left- The lower Fall - can be reached from a path along the river bank ,signed off the Llanberis Path to Snowdon.
Lower right - A view from below the Falls showing the cliff with the lower fall watershoot running along the top and also a smaller side stream.
