Moelwyn Bach - Stwlan Dam - Moelyn Mawr
From south of Blaenau Ffestiniog at Cefn Trwsgl (242m) a view off Moelwyn Bach (710m) ,
the Upper Dam of the Ffestiniog Power Station - below Craigysgafn Ridge , and Moelwyn Mawr (770m).
Ffestiniog Power Station (1963) was the UK's first major pumped storage power facility.
The upper reservoir is Llyn Stwlan which can discharge water to the turbine generators
at the power station on the bank of Tanygrisiau reservoir.

Park - Large layby on the A496 , South of Tanygrisiau.
A FP off the A496 (by the side of a house) climbs Cefn Trwsgl .
