Folds / Rhoscolyn Anticline - 2
Along the Coastline , to the West of the Coastwatch Station, a pic of some of the
Rhoscolyn Anticline Precambrian Rocks.
The core of the anticline runs beneath the Coastwatch Lookout .
Folding with intense micro-folding and cleavage formation in the bedded sedimentary rocks
(sandstones and silty mudstones with some quartzite).
The coastal exposures around Rhoscolyn are intensively studied by Geologists.
