A view from below the Coastwatch Lookout.
The core of the Rhoscolyn Anticline runs beneath the Lookout.
The Anticline is a thick sequence of Pre Cambrian metamorphosed sediments –
psammites (sandstone) , pelites (mudstone)
and quartzites (quartz sandstone) – folded into a large scale anticline.
