The other Memorial at the Lifeboat Centre is from 2004.
The 7ft high bronze statue of lifeboat coxswain Richard Evans (1905-2001)
was created by sculptor Sam Holland .
Few lifeboat volunteers are awarded the RNLI’s gold medal for bravery, but he was awarded two.
