Point Lynas Lighthouse - 1
The entrance to the Lighthouse site.
The Lighthouse was built in 1835 by the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board .
The building is now privately owned.
Point Lynas is noted as a good viewing point for the resident harbour porpoises and seals .
Possibly Dolphins as well - Bottlenose (all year), Common (May - Nov), Risso (Sept-Nov).
