Views from Ynys Tywyn , a small hill (NT) in porthmadog with a Rock Cannon on the summit
( ie. a number of holes drilled in a rock that were can be filled with gunpowder and ignited on special occasions)
A view over the Sluice Gates and Llyn Bach (on a low tide) / Traeth Mawr
The tidal sluice gates allow the Afon Glaslyn to flow out of Traeth Mawr as the tide ebbs .

Bottom Pic - Cei Ballast Island
Ships carrying Slate were partially loaded with stone on their return voyage to Porthmadog.
The Island - Cei Ballast was formed from the dumped Ballast - rocks and gravels from around the world.
