Rhos - on - Sea
A view from from just above Cayley Promenade .
A nice area of sand leads to Rhos point.
Extensive work (2023/23) is taking place to improve the Promenade ,
including pumping new Sand on to the beaches as a natural sea defence.
One million tonnes of sand was sucked from a dredging site in Liverpool Bay,
the sand and seawater mix was sent along a pipe to be squirted on the beach.
