Bronze Age - Copper Mine , Great Orme
Further up the Great Orme are a number of interesting places to visit
There are rich seams of Dolomite-hosted Copper Ore on the Great Orme.
The Great Orme Copper Mines have an extensive complex of surface and underground workings
with passages totalling more than 5km in length and up to to 70m deep.
Enough ore may have been mined to produce about 2,000 tons Copper during the Bronze Age.
