Leaving the Road at Lleiniog and on lowish tides the rough shingle beach can be walked .
This is one of a number of erratics on Traeth Lleiniog
deposited by retreating ice at the end of the last Ice Age.
The largest lies on the beach at SH 623 791 and measures 7.3m x 3m x 3m.
In places the soft rocks on the shore line are eroding and form shallow caves.
The layer above has a range of clast sizes deposited by ice.
