Looking South along the Beach of Fryars Bay towards the cliffs near Beaumaris.
During WW2 Saunders-Roe converted US made Catalina flying boats for British use .
Crossing the beach is the concrete slipway used to move the Boats to the workshops.
The works are on the site of small Franciscan Friary in the now vanished medieval town of Llanfaes.
Aerial Photos clearly show 5 Stone Fish Traps associated with the Friary at Lleiniog and in Fryars Bay.
