5 - Holyhead to Church Bay
The Celtic Gateway Bridge - Holyhead
The Path uses the Celtic Gateway bridge to cross the Railway Line.
The pedestrian and cycle bridge opened in October 2006.
The Bridge is supported by two cable-stayed, stainless steel arches lying on inclined planes,
supporting a steel deck with concrete infill. The bridge was built by Cimolai Spa of Italy.
