Follow a long lane from Dolgellau to the Park Authority Car Park (charge) at Ty-nant . Follow Pony Path
to a gate with FP sign where another path can be taken to Llyn y Gadair (crosses scree).
And then join the Fox's Path up to Penygadair the Cadair Idris Summit and rejoin the Pony Path.
