
Dr John Davies built this charming packhorse bridge across the River Dyfi, just south of Dinas Mawddwy, in the early 17th century.
Dr Davies worked on early Welsh translations of the Bible and the Book of Common Prayer.
Built between 1603 and 1644 ,consisting of two arches , now topped with turf, with a central pier in the river
beside the modern bridge and the A470.
