
A view of the standing stone , with in the background , mist just clearing from the Tyrrau Mawr escarpment (661m) ,
the northern face of one of the peaks of the 11km long Cader Idris massif.
A tapering pillar 2m high, with sides 0.9m and 0.75m wide, roughly triangular in cross-section.
Probably dates to the Bronze Age (c. 2300 - 800 BC). Another name is Llynnau Cregennen Standing Stone .
