Bryn y Castell
A small stone walled Iron Age hillfort that was excavated 1979-1985. Evidence of iron smelting has been found here.
The rampart and stone buildings in the interior have been partially reconstructed.
The Snowdonia Slate Trail signs can be followed from Llyn y Morynion to Bryn y Castell.
The Path through the moorland is very boggy in lots of places !
