A view over a roofless Caban (mess room) and Loco Shed plus Incline at the Western end of the Dinorwig Quarry.
The Caban was also the centre of social activity. An annual Eisteddfod would be held over a period of a week or more.
A Zig Zag path(1950's) allows a reasonable route up to this viewpoint and much further up if required.
Throughout most of its working life, the Quarry was owned by the Assheton Smiths, who lived at the Faenol estate.
From 1951, it was operated by a limited liability company. Closed 1969.
