A view over the Conglog Quarry barracks called Rhosydd Terrace.
The quarry worked from 1854 to 1909 but not a successful enterpise.
The quarry is reached by continuing up the picturesque Cwmorthin valley along the old Tramway . Rhosydd Quarry is at the top of the valley.
Out of the pic is the dressing shed and the slate pillars that carried water to the dressing shed.
Allt Y Ceffylau defines the north side of the valley with Llyn Cwmorthin and Cwmorthin Quarry spoil tips in the distance.
