The Village of Rhoscrowther below the Oil Refinery.
After two explosions and a fire in 1992 and 1994 at the Oil Refinery .
Texaco offered to move the
Rhoscrowther residents to a safer location . Rhoscrowther has now become a ghost village.
The empty houses and the village pub were demolished. All that remains are the
14th century Parish Church (St Decuman's) and the community hall and a few houses.
