
"Corystes Cassivelaunus"
Usually buried in sand , with the tips of it's exceptionally long hairy antennae
above the surface.
Water is drawn to it's gills , down a tube formed by the hairs on the antennae.
4cm long Carapace .
The front legs are twice as long as the body in the male crabs.
The markings and indentations on the back sometimes resemble a face ,
hence it's name - Masked Crab.
