Late 10th or early 11th century ,13 foot high Celtic Cross of dolerite rock,
comprising an upper wheel-head joined by a mortise and tenon joint to the shaft.
It has classic braided decorations (symbolic of eternity)
The east and west sides contain small panels containing
inscriptions reading "dns" on one side and "h.an.eh" on the other.
