Dinorwic Slate Quarry - Llanberis
A view fom near the Anglesey Barracks towards the levels of the Dinorwic Slate Quarry
above the Dinorwig Power Station .
The Quarry worked on a gallery system , with the slate taken from stepped working levels
cut into the hillside at intervals of about 60 ft.
