Britannia Bridge Lion
One of the four Lions of the original Britannia Bridge, which now sit forlornly in the shadow of the new road bridge.
Just off the Coast Path - a track off the concrete road past the box section allows a view of the Lion .
The Lions are carved limestone from Penmon Quarry near Beaumaris.
The plinth and the bottom half of the Lion on the east side can be seen across the railway line !
