6 - Trefor to Bangor
Brittania Bridge
Brittania Bridge over the Menai Strait , a narrow stretch of shallow tidal water
about 16 miles (25 km) long,with a depth of water from a few metres to 22m.
The differential tides at the two ends of the strait cause very strong currents
to flow in both directions through the strait at different times.
A plaque can be seen under the Bridge.
