The former headquarters of John Summers & Sons Ltd by the side of the Afon Dyfrdwy / River Dee in Shotton. Recently restored.
John Summers & Sons Ltd was a major Iron and Steel producer, latterly based at Shotton.
The company was part of British Steel Corporation in 1967 , Corus in 1999 and Tata Steel in 2007.
